This zine is a small but informative guide to using wild plants to dye fabric. It includes step-by-step instructions for harvesting plants, extracting color from them, using two different types of mordants to pre-treat your fabric or yarn, and two methods of applying dye to the fiber. It also features six dye tests that I did during my residency at the Adirondack Interpretive Center, with color swatches and original illustrations for each plant.
