This booklet contains Craig Rosebraugh's 1998 Grand Juries: Tools of Political Repression, his later Grand Jury Reflections originally published in No Compromise, the Activist Civil Liberties Committee/Grand Jury Project's The Federal Grand Jury: The War on New Social Justice Movements and the Bill of Rights, a new introduction by Leslie James Pickering, and archival images throughout.
We were requested to put these pieces together to present a more complete picture of grand jury probes into the trajectory spanning the Animal Liberation Front to the Earth Liberation front throughout the long 1990s. While the targeting of Craig Rosebraugh and Jonathan Paul receive specific attention, a handful of other cases are mentioned, as well as valuable analysis of grand jury repression and resistance strategies.
