About the Author:

Brought up in cities all over the world, Anna Locke’s journey into a deep love of plants began with a degree in herbal medicine. She passed the RHS diploma in Horticulture in 2000 and became a community gardener around North London, teaching children and adults in schools, play centres, community centres, housing estates and allotments. Anna has planted and designed many community and school gardens that focus on annual vegetable production as well as fruit trees, edible hedges, allotments and permaculture forest gardens. Anna lives in Hastings, designing, facilitating workshops and developing a small community farm.
